Recently a two year course to prepare ministers has been started in Alamito. It is held on the first and third Sunday of every month for two or three hours. A lesson is presented to teach leaders how to be ministers, how to become pastors, how to work with people, how to counsel, right attitudes to have, and right focuses to have. It has been going quite well. A group of about fifty people come to be trained as ministers each week. Some come from Alamito, some from the main city of Gusave, and some from other churches in the area.

During the week they take home homework assignment to complete for the following week. This helps insure that they understood the points that were made during the class. They turn in the homework which is graded and used to determine if some points were not understood or if something needs to be explained better. In this way they are growing little by little and are becoming trained to be ministers. Hopefully they will some day replace Jeff and continue to raise up pastors and ministers to take up the work of the ministry.
