Petit Update

We owe you all a great bit of thanks for your prayers while we were in Quimichis, Nayarit. Our ministry there was extremely successful due to the prayer backing that you all gave us. We assembled a mission team of 14 people including our Vida Nueva pastors, our family, Doug Coult, and his boys. Upon arrival we met Pastor Narciso and his wife Maria, who experienced a rebirth of their church due to the evangelism of our last mission team. You can see the pastor and his wife in the attached photo along with a picture of the awesome hospitality they extended to us upon our arrival in Quimichis. Our time of ministry included many events, the main event being a three day conference that we taught to the believers. Most of the members of our team taught one or more classes at the conference. Our daughter Rebecca taught on the meaning and purpose of water baptism (as you can see in the photo). Rebecca did a great job at expressing all the points of the topic. We were very proud of the awesome ministry work everyone on our team did. You can see our mission team in the attached photo.

I was very impressed with our youth on the whole trip. What a group of hard workers - they were involved in everything and did it well! They led worship for our church service, baptisms, and the conference we did in Quimichis. The youth also did skits to demonstrate the points of most of the conference teachings. In addition they worked with Blanca from our church in Alamito to lead ministry to the children during every event. Rebecca even baked a cake for those who were having birthdays while we were there. We attached a few photos of the our youth doing skits, leading worship with Doug Coult, and doing children's ministry. While we were in Quimichis we had the privilege of going to the beach to help baptize the Pastor's son Samuel and another youth named Kelvin. The baptisms gave us great opportunity to witness to a group of unsaved relatives and friends that came to witness the event. On our last evening in Quimichis we led a service that proved to be life changing for the reborn local congregation. Ernesto, Pastor of our Vida Nueva congregation in Guasave, gave a heart touching testimony of his transforming experience with Jesus. We attached a picture of Ernesto giving his testimony.

Pastor Narciso and his wife requested that his reborn congregation take on our Vida Nueva spiritual covering. Pastor Narciso had long since lost affiliation with any other churches due to his lack of economy to travel to required denominational meetings. Now with his church coming back to life after having been closed, he desired affiliation with our Vida Nueva churches. Our pastors agreed unanimously to extend our spiritual cover to Pastor Narciso and his congregation. Our decision was presented during the Sunday service as Narciso and his wife came forward to receive prayer and blessing from all the Vida Nueva pastors. News of their affiliation with us brought great joy and encouragement to everyone in the congregation

Our churches are already dreaming about their next mission trip to Quimichis, Nayarit. We thank all of you for your faithful support and prayers that allow us to be successful in ministering to many souls as our ministry extends to new areas.
